SÌUNO is a botanical perfume house founded by Amanda Marotti-Thompson in 2024.

Working exclusively with 100% whole plant botanicals, SÌUNO creates perfumes that carry the living imprint of sun, soil, climate, and place. Our approach is one of minimal intervention, honouring the innate intelligence of nature through steam-distilled essential oils, absolutes, and CO₂ extracts.

Our botanicals are sourced directly from small distilleries and growers with whom we cultivate close, personal relationships, places where craft, land, season, and time remain deeply intertwined.

Rooted in Italian artisanship and shaped by the wildness of the Australian landscape, SÌUNO exists between worlds. We explore botanical perfumery as both craft and ritual, an ancient language of scent in which fragrance is experienced not simply as composition, but as presence, memory, and energetic resonance.

Amanda works closely with Master Olfactory Artist Andrej Babicky. Their collaboration brings together distinct disciplines and sensibilities. Amanda contributes vision, narrative, and an instinct for beauty whilst Andrej brings a lifetime devoted to scent, material, craftsmanship, and the intelligence of the botanical world.

Each perfume begins with an intention, a state of being we wish to remember or return to, and unfolds through alchemy, mythology, landscape, and plant.
