WE RESPECT THE ORIGINAL CUSTODIANS OF OUR LAND AND THEIR CONNECTION TO COUNTRY. WE BELIEVE IN FOLLOWING NATURE'S CYCLES AND SUPPORTING SUSTAINABLE HARVESTING.

We acknowledge that sustainability and land regeneration is a complex issue and that all product creation is founded in consumption. It is important that the true custodians of our lands are given a voice and platform. As a boutique perfume house, we are conscious to not make or proclaim statements about both sustainability and land generation, and remain humble to being corrected and educated at any opportunity. Above all else, we strive to be honest and authentic, and we dedicate our perfume house to lowering consumption. Below is a list of current commitments.

ENVIRONMENTALLY CONSCIOUS MATERIALS

We are intentional in our material selections whilst not compromising on quality. Our 50ml glass bottles are sourced and made in Italy. To reduce waste our caps are made in Italy from recyclable bio resin. Our packaging is plastic free and recyclable.

SOURCING AT ORIGIN

Our raw materials are sourced directly from sustainable, bio-dynamic growers and distillers. Our relationships with growers are built on transparency, respect and long-term commitment. We support fair wages and ethical working conditions and seek producers who protect both people and land.

We acknowledge sourcing at origin is still complex issue and a huge gap remains between the profits made in different global communities. Sourcing at origin means we are closer to our supply chain.

INDIGENOUS PARTNERSHIP

We acknowledge the profound significance of plant medicine in indigenous traditions and the impact of colonization on these practices. For thousands of years, indigenous communities have relied on the healing properties of plants, utilising them in traditional medicine, spiritual rituals, and daily life. SIUNO stands committed to preserving and revitalizing these traditions.

SIUNO donates 1% of profits to the The Returning, a charity dedicated to supporting indigenous communities. Through this ongoing partnership, we aspire to honour the wisdom of our elders, bridge cultural understanding, and promote sustainable use and preservation of our natural resources.
